This is a riff on my saffron and lemon verbena ice cream. Like the balance if floral and bittersweet saffron, I love the slightly bitter, sweetly floral and citrusy orange blossom flavour paired with the brightness of the lemony and herbaceous verbena.
This is probably more an ice cream you would serve with a gooey brownie, a warm piece of French toast or jazz up with candied kumquats and a mango sorbet for a sundae. And it is straight up damn good with stone fruit pies and galettes!
